I have frantically pleaded with steam and xfire forums to get them to pledge support for java in their browsers, but every time they come back and say something like java isn't a priority at this time and the thread dies into oblivion.

I feel like having java in game will open the flood gates for interesting and useful java applets to be used in game. Which is in line with PXP's ideals for an in-game utopia. I currently can't test PXP in game anymore because i recently upgraded to 64bit win7. Let's get the dialogue started for java support in PXP.

<summary type="html">Hello, I just signed up today after this program seemed like a pretty sweet deal to replace my combination of xfire and trillian. Xfire's been broken lately anyways, for me at least.

So after using it for all of ten minutes I ran into my first and most important problem: No support for filesharing cross-program. A friend tried to send me a file through xfire, but I couldn't find anywhere to accept, assuming it is even possible. I googled around and poked around these forums a bit, but nothing on the topic whatsoever.

Secondly, the MSN gateway doesn't return any friends, which is just odd. I noticed a thread from sometime in 2009 that said people with account names (including @whatever.com) longer than 16 characters didn't work yet. Has this since been fixed? My account has exactly 16 characters, so I'm wondering.

Anyway, aside from these issues, it's looking pretty useful so far. Keep up the good work I suppose.</summary>

<summary type="html">So what happened to the support section of the website? =_= Rule ONE when shopping online, you always check the site for problems. If it's got so many issues that it looks like it was made by amateurs, or "halfateurs" (Halfway between professional and amateur but by no means a REAL professional), keep your money and get out. The program's icon looks like pixelated crap, too, but I digress.

One very irritating bit about this website is that Chrome won't stop loading...it won't finish...that spinning blue crescent keeps spinning for eternity and won't stop!!! Then there's the matter about account controls...the majority of whatever I PUT in there DISAPPEARS!!! Like phone numbers, SMS, etc.!!!

Now let's go on to why this - or at least the support section - makes me mad...Hai thar, PXP is failing and I would like some SUPPORT...

First and foremost, it won't connect to anything. The chat gateways are jokes...complete jokes. They don't work, it won't find my friend on XFire and it will do nothing but kick me out of MSN...makes the real Messenger think something else is connected but never connects itself.

Second, whatever Winamp crap it's relying on doesn't seem to want to work.

Why am I complaining about this here when it's clearly in beta? Well, first off it looks more like an alpha to me, but that's subjective...an opinion. MOSTLY because the support page redirects to the HOME PAGE!!!

Yes...I'm angry...I'm EXTREMELY dissatisfied. I'm SICK of MSN not working right, XFire's in-game controls are Java or some crap with massive mouse drag, it doesn't take mobile numbers (this doesn't either, does it? Let's work on that too), and I'd LIKE there to be SOME way for me to play a game without having to go deaf and BLIND to everyone I KNOW...

And...don't even bother thinking the whole "You should know we're working on this so you shouldn't be screaming for us to get it done" thing because again, I wouldn't even be here if the support page wasn't down.

Thank you... =_=</summary>
